Intermittent Mysteries is a project Kythryne does every few months. A theme is announced each time, such as a particular stone, or a color, or a style of jewelry, and a limited number of signups are accepted. Kythryne then makes a series of jewelry in that theme over a period of time, usually one to two weeks. Those pieces are then sent out randomly to the people who've signed up that month, who never quite know what they're getting until they open the package.

Previous themes have included Avalon (pieces inspired by Arthurian legend) Shimmer & Shift (pieces using stones which display various characteristics depending on the light), Sail The Seven Seas (sea- and water-inspired pieces) and Wanderlust (inspired by places all over the world).

Intermittent Mysteries is a project Kythryne does to try new things and play with interesting materials and send nifty jewelry out into the world. Unlike commissions, we don't send pictures of these pieces before they are shipped. We also don't take returns on them. If you're looking for something very specific, we ask that you either commission a piece or purchase something off the website. Intermittent Mysteries is about taking chances and getting surprised.
